Videoton will meet Debrecen in the 67th first division match between the two on Saturday

The two sides have met so far in 66 matches in the top division. The first encounter between the two clubs came back in the 1979/1980 season in week 4 of that campaign. That was played at the Sostoi stadium on the 5th December 1979 and the game ended in a 1-1 draw. The record reads 66 matches with 22 wins and 30 having been won by Debrecen. The remaining 14 have been drawn producing an overall goal difference of 99-79 in favour of Saturday's opponents.

Vidi did not have the best of records at the home of Debrecen and went between 2001 and 2015 without managing a win. They could not even pick up a point from 2003-2015 at the Loki stadium. Gyozo Burcsa scored Vidi's goal that day. The away game that season also produced a 1-1 draw with Tibor Nagy hitting the back of the net for Videoton.

First Vidi win:
That came in the fifth match between the two back on the 11th November 1981. The game at the Sostoi stadium saw Vidi run out 2-0 winners, with a double strike from Sandor Baranyi.

Biggest ever win:
The largest win was a 4-0 success in season 1982/83. The match on the 9th April 1983 ended in a 4-0 win with the goals being scored by Szabo, Novath, Vadasz and Nagy.

Most goals in a league match:
That was played in Szekesfehervar on the 13th September 1986 in a match that had six goals! Goals from Kovacs (2), Wittmann and Kanyok produced a 4-2 win in front of the home fans.
