Videoton travel to Budapest on Saturday in search of three important points to secure second place.
Ujpest go into Saturday's match sitting in sixth place in the OTP league table. They will be unable to improve on that position even if they end up beating us. The lilacs sat in second place back in February, but went on to win just 3 of their 13 league games over the spring season. That saw them slip slowly down the table. Ujpest have won 11 of the 32 league games this season. A further 13 have been drawn, while 8 have ended up in defeat. A total of 42 goals have been scored and 34 conceded at the other end. Topgoalscorer has been Diagne Mbaye, who left the club in the winter with 11 goals to his name. Laszlo Lencse has notched 7 goals this season, with 3 of those coming in the colours of Videoton. The other four were scored in the autumn season for Puskas FC.
Vidi have played Ujpest twice this season. A 3-0 home win at the Sostoi gave Vidi the points, while Ujpest won the return game 1-0 at the Ferenc Szusza stadium.
Ujpest most recently lined up in their 2-2 derby draw with FTC as follows: Balajcza - Heris, Litauszki, Hazard, Balogh, Lencse (Diarra), Kecskés, Sankovic, Andric (Kabát), Cseke, Bardhi (Windecker).
Ujpest are in the Hungarian cup final on the 7th May, when they will face rivals Ferenvaros.
