Tamás Ekbauer signs contract extension

Vidi has extended the contract of Tamás Ekbauer. The attacking midfielder, born on 28th February 2008, transferred from Veszprém to Fehérvár in the summer of 2023. In his first season, he scored 2 goals in 20 matches in the U16 Elite League, while in the U17 Basic Group, he scored 4 goals in 5 matches. In August 2024, he signed his first professional contract with our club, and during the 2025/2026 season, he trained with our first team on several occasions. He is currently spending the spring season on loan at VSC 2015 Veszprém, where he has started three league matches so far in the NB III West group.

"I feel it is a great honor that Videoton has extended my contract; it is also a sign that they trust me and are counting on me. And I will do everything I can to prove myself on the pitch and repay the trust placed in me. It means a lot to me that I can now play in the senior league this spring. I feel that trust here in Veszprém as well; the team and staff welcomed me quickly, and I feel comfortable both in training and during matches—I have nothing but positive things to say about the past month and a half," Tamás Ekbauer told our website after the contract extension.
