The two managers gave their views shortly after the final whistle on Wednesday evening.
Marko Nikolic:
I would like to congratulate my players for scoring four goals away from home and winning the match. It was a difficult and important win today. I also know that Vidi have not won here for a while so we can be satisfied. We now lead the table and we need to continue our good run in the future. We also have to recognise that Paks had chances and could have scored goals, but they also missed them. Football is like this as we had chances in Belgrade against Partizan, but that meant nothing at the start of the second leg at the Pancho Arena. You need to convert the chances you create. We must not forget that we had Scepovic out with a minor injury and also Stopira, who has not yet arrived back after playing for his winning country. Mate Patkai was another not to start the game. This would have been his third game inside a week. He was ready for the game but I gave others the chance today. I would like to thank the supporters who travelled to Paks. They were behind us throughout the game. I would also like to add that the home team are a good side and I feel that they will not have any problems at the bottom end of the table.
Csertői Aurél:
Vidi professionally took advantage of our amateur mistakes. I felt that the game was already settled after the first goal. They defended deep and hit us on the counter attacks. The visitors were that much better today. There are always turning points in a game. We had chances but Videoton converted the chances that came from our errors. They also made mistakes but we were not able to score from them.
