PRESS CONFERENCE

"We have to beat DVSC to stay up"

After the match ended in a 3-0 home victory, Krisztián Tímár and Robbie Keane gave their thoughts on what they saw at the press conference.

Krisztián Tímár:

"Given our current situation, we didn't start the match badly, but a recurring problem arose when FTC took the lead after a set piece, which changed the complexion of the game. Until then, we had several good times when we won the ball in the middle zone, which allowed us to get into the attacking third on a couple of occasions and try to create chances, but I felt our play up front was a little lightweight. Of course, it was harder for us when we were behind, but the team held its own. I'm sorry about the third goal, because it was another individual mistake, which has been a recurring problem in recent weeks. We need to learn from this, but now we only have one thing on our minds: we have to beat DVSC to stay up. We have our fate in our own hands at home, and we will fight for victory until the very last moment.

Robbie Keane:

"I love this kind of really intense, attacking football. I arrived at Fradi in January, which is never an easy situation for a coach. Sometimes I had to use different systems, sometimes out of necessity. This is the kind of football I expect from the team, this is the kind of football I like to play. Of course, as well as scoring lots of goals, it's also important not to concede any. When I arrived in January, I said that we wanted to play a style of football that is not only effective but also entertaining for the fans. Next season, we want to play even more intense football. We have a tough match against ETO ahead of us, but we know what our goal is and how we can achieve it."
