Dániel Nagy, who has already scored two goals in the league for our first team, and Péter Borsi, captain of our U19 team, have also signed their first professional contracts.
Last week, our club signed professional contracts with two more talented players who came up through our youth system.
Born on 10th July 2007, Dániel Nagy has been playing for Vidi's youth teams since 2015. He played for all of our age-group teams, then spent a year in Berlin between the summers of 2024 and 2025 for educational reasons. He returned to Videoton this summer, starting the season with our U19 team, which got off to a great start in the Premier League, and was quickly given the opportunity to play for the first team by Gábor Boér. He scored in his first two NB II league matches (against Tiszakécske and Kozármisleny), and after those two matches, he also started against Mezőkövesd. He played the full 90 minutes in two of the three NB II matches, and taking into account the U19 league, he has already scored five goals in the 2025/2026 season.
Péter Borsi was born on 14th January 2007. The 18-year-old footballer's first and only team to date is Videoton, where he started playing in our youth academy in 2015. Last season, he was already a key player in our U19 team, scoring six goals in a total of 24 matches in the league and cup in the 2024/2025 season. He is also a regular starter for our U19 team in the season that began in August, playing from the first minute in all five matches in the Premier League and wearing the captain's armband.
