Our young striker spent 89 minutes on the pitch in the 2-0 win against Cyprus in the European Championship qualifier.
Early on Tuesday evening in Muras Saturday, the Slovenian U21 national team hosted Cyprus in a European Championship qualifier. The home team started again with our young striker Nejc Gradisar.
Slovenia dominated the game throughout, but needed a Cypriot assist to take the lead, with Koutsakos scoring an own goal in the 27th minute (1-0). Cipot made it 2-0 in the 84th minute, and Gradisar left the field of play a minute before the end, replaced by Bosilj.
The win keeps Slovenia in first place in their group.
