Gyorgy Sandor came on as a second half substitute in Hungary's 2-1 win over Sweden
Hungary produced a great home win on Friday evening at the Puskas Ferenc stadium. Hungary needed to win to keep any hope of making it to the play off group stage. Sweden arrived in second place, with Sandor Egervari's Hungary a place behind them. Goals from Szabics and a last minute winner from Rudolf gave the Magyars all three points to go level on 15 points each with the Swedes. Hungary even missed a penalty in the first half, with Akos Elek starting the match in a central midfield role. Gyorgy Sandor came on as a second half substitute to bring a smile to the faces of Videoton supporters. Hungary now travel to Moldova for Tuesday's big match. The final game in the group will be on the 11th October, with a vital home match with Finland.
