Videoton's Akos Elek helped Hungary to an easy win in the European Qualifying match
A crowd of just over ten thousand witnessed Hungary easily beat San Marino on Friday evening. Hungary scored four times in each half to make it an 8-0 thrashing at the end. The home side took the lead after 10 minutes, and the highlight of the match was the good hatrick that Adam Szalai scored. There was also a double for Rudolph, while Koman, Dzsudzsak and Gera also found the back of the net. San Marino also had a player sent off in the final minute to complete a miserable evening for them. Vidi's Akos Elek played an hour of the match and was busy in the middle of the pitch. He also began the move which led to the third goal. Hungary now face a trip to Finland on Tuesday, which will also see the return from bans for both Pal Lazar and Zoltan Liptak.
