Joan Carrillo: The substitutes at half time brought us the tempo that we needed

The two managers shared their thoughts on the Hungarian cup match.

Joan Carrillo: "We needed to take in to consideration the league match that preceded today's cup match and the next one. We know that Pecs are a side that can defend really well. They placed even greater emphasis on the defensive side of their game. We did not play with the tempo needed in the first half, while Pecs scored from their first chance. The substitutes at half time brought the required tempo that we needed. We did not only play quicker, but hit more attacks from the wings, while there were more one against one battles out there. We created many chances over the 90 minutes, which totalled 17 in number."

Robert Jarni: "We played in a good tempo match at the home of Vidi. I would like to congratulate my players who played well. This is what makes football such an interesting game, as it can produce games that have changes. We played well in the first 45 minutes, while Vidi put us under more pressure in the second half. This was also down to them being able to make quality changes, which my colleague did. The home side were more aggressive in their play in the second period. I am satisfied with both the result and the way we played. We still have a chance to go through."
