The two manager's gave their thoughts on the Hungarian cup semi-final, first leg.
Joan Carrillo: „1-0 is not too big an advantage, but what is more important is that we did not concede a goal. We lead 1-0 at the half way stage of 180 minutes battle. We are a step closer to our aim, but we have a difficult second leg ahead of us away from home. I told the players before the game that if we commit technical mistakes, it is not such a big problem, as it is part of football. Naturally we also need to cut down on the errors. The motivation and work that the players put in to a match is the most important. There were passes today that did not succeed, but we managed to win. Many will say that we had luck, just as they did after Sunday's league match. But you need to know that those who have luck also do a lot for it. The team worked again for today's win, and there is hard work behind the result. Our ball possession was not what you can call optimal, just like on Sunday, so we really need to improve in this area. I would like to say thank you to the supporters, who came out to support us. We really need their backing."
Nebojsa Vignjevic: "This was a similar game to the one that we played 3 days ago in the league. We placed big pressure on Videoton FC, but could not score a goal. The home side scored a goal towards the end of the first half following an error. It remained a problem that we could not score a goal from the chances that we created. We really need to improve in this in the future. I feel that we will be capable of reversing the score at home and make it through as a result."
