The two manager's spoke to the media following Sunday's game.
Joan Carrillo: "It was a difficult game just as we thought it would be. Paks are a good team, especially on their home pitch. It is no surprise that only two sides have been able to beat us this season. The home team confirmed during the game today that this was not by accident. There were one or two chances in the first half, while the aim in the second period was to have as much possession as possible. There were chances for both sides during the half, and it appeared to me from the bench that we had more, but it was Paks that ended up scoring. This can happen in football that a team picks up the three points even if they had the fewer chances. I rested several key players that have been playing regularly recently. We need to start focusing on the Champions league, which is why I gave the chance to those players who are sure to be playing football with us next season. I was curious to see how these players would perform. It was also a good chance to see them in match action. Overall the team did what I wanted to see of them. If anyone needs to be blamed for the defeat today, that should only be me. The players did all that I had asked of them. The most important thing for us is to be able to begin preparing for the Champions league and see all that needs to be changed. We will look at our mistakes during the coming week, and work on fixing them."
Csertői Aurél: "I would like to congratulate Vidi for winning the league. The fact that our opponents did not have anything to really play for does not make our win any much smaller. The Fehervar side were unable to create a real chance on goal over the 90 minutes. I would like to wish Vidi the best of luck in Europe!"
