The two manager's shared their thoughts on Saturday's OTP league match.
Joan Carrillo: "We played in a very good match with Debrecen today. We knew that we were visiting the home of an excellent side, which Debrecen confirmed today. This match was very similar to the one the two sides last played in the League cup match in Szekesfehervar. We knew that we would have to really take care as DVSC are in very good form over the spring. I have been telling the players for several weeks now that there will be games when we play very well, but it can also happen that there will be times when the opposite applies. The most important is that we always battle and fight and that will bring the result. The players really battled today and here is the result: We have managed to win a league match in Debrecen for the first time in 14 years. The 3 points today has given us 3 points to take us to 67 points, which is a new club record."
Kondás Elemér: "We started the game well and it could have been 3-0 at half time, but instead a cross ended up in the back of our net and it was 0-1. Videoton FC then scored another goal from nothing in the second half. We played very well and we should have scored from the big chances we had. We managed to put our opponents under pressure for the majority of the game. Today's match should not be compared to the recent league cup game, as Videoton FC did not have 100% chances in that game as we worked out today. Our two goals in that match in Szekesfehervar came as a result of good moves."
