The two managers shared their thoughts on Saturday's OTP league division one match.
Joan Carrillo: We played with four defenders, with more attacking players having been given the chance, so we took more of a gamble, which saw Pecs also have chances. We knew that the opponents would be dangerous on the counter attack and also from set pieces. I brought this to the attention of the players before the game. It can happen in a match that a team sits back and waits for the chance to come, but we did not want this and I will repeat that we took a gamble in the interest of the result. We finally won 4-0, which is the most important, while conceding 9 goals in 25 matches. Stopira's intervention was a very important point in the first half, but we did have chances before that. We will continue our league campaign at Debrecen next week, which will be a completely different game. We will have to prepare suitably for that match. We have an important game before that, with the Hungarian cup semi-final, second leg at the home of Ujpest. One of the points within my contract states that the team has to finish in a position, which would mean European football in the summer. We have virtually made this a certainty. I love living and working here and my family also really enjoy being here, so I can say that I am one of the happiest men in Hungary.
Robert Jarni: We were clear with the fact that Vidi are battling for the league title, while we are trying to avoid relegation. I would like to congratulate my players for their performance today. They managed to do what I had asked of them. Not all sides will be able to create so many chances against such a strong side as we did. The final result does not mirror the picture of the game, but I will admit that Vidi were better and deserved their win. Our most important game is the last four. They will come after next week's game with Ferencvaros. We will need to secure our place in the league mathematically.
