Head coach Krisztián Tímár named Dala, Petrov, Spandler, Kalandadze, Kovács M., Melnyik, Bedi, Milicevic, Szabó B., Saponjics and Stefanelli in the starting lineup.

The first chance fell to our team in the third minute when Ivan Saponjics volleyed Mátyás Kovács' cross over the bar from five yards out. The match continued with mainly midfield play and neither goal being in danger.

The match continued in the same vein until the 23rd minute, when Mátyás Kovács slid into Ledio Beaja's legs and was shown a yellow card. Daniel Stefulj shot over the bar, then in the 35th minute, Vitális Milán's free kick went wide.

Nicolas Stefanelli also had his moments; first, his shot from 17 meters was easily saved by Samuel Petras, while after a pass from Bálint Szabó, he had a chance to score from inside the box, but he miskicked the ball.

Neither head coach made any substitutions during the break. In the 47th minute, Aleksandre Kalandadze found himself in a promising position, but his shot from the left flew just over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, the home team took the lead out of nowhere: from their first corner, Vitális crossed into the middle, and Miljan Krpic beat our defenders and flicked the ball into the far corner (1-0).

Stefanelli's dangerous cross was cleared by the defenders in front of Saponjics, followed by a series of attacks from Győr. Barnabás Bíró's shot and then Claudiu Bumba's close-range effort were both saved by Dala Martin. Krisztián Tímár tried to freshen things up with substitutions, bringing on Filip Holender, Milán Pető and Lirim Kastrati.

In the 71st minute, ETO scored again, but Nadhir Benbouali's goal was disallowed for offside. We pushed forward, trying to equalize, but the home team had another chance: in the 87th minute, Stefulj received a good pass, but Dala saved it for a corner. The home side attacked in the final minutes, with Dala making several more saves. The score remained unchanged, and Győr won the match 1-0.
