A Győr team with many changes awaits Vidi on Sunday

Vasile Miriuta'a side saw many departures and several new faces arrive during the winter. Győr have won four of their nine pre-season friendly games.

Győri ETO sit in ninth place in the OTP league table as they go in to Sunday's home game with Vidi. They have picked up 6 wins in their 17 games so far, which includes a further 5 drawn matches and 6 defeats. The goal difference is 25-21 with Gergely Rudolf their leading goalscorer on 6 goals. 

There was plenty of movement during the winter break on the banks of the River Raba. Ten players departed with a further seven going out on loan. There were five arrivals and six that were promoted through the youth system. The major departures included: Leandro Martínez, Dudás Ádám, Varga Roland, Rafe Wolf, Michal Svec. Key arrivals were Valdica Brdarovszki (Macedonia, Pelister), Dan Bucsa (Romania, Universitatea Cluj), Luis Ibanez (Argentinian-Croatian, Dinamo Zagreb). The nine pre-season friendlies to date have seen them win four and lose two with the remaining three games drawn.

Vidi met Győr in the 3rd weekend of the autumn season. It produced one of the most exciting games with Vidi coming from behind to win 3-2. The two sides last played a league game at the ETO park in August 2013, when the teams shared a 1-1 draw. Vidi's goal that day came from defender Roland Juhasz.

Sunday's match kicks off at 16:30pm with a full match report appearing online shortly after the final whistle.
