The two managers shared their thoughts on Sunday's league match.
Joan Carrillo: A draw is a good result for any side that visits Győr. The same applies to us. Naturally we wanted to win, but we can be satisfied with the point. Two contrary sides played football today, with Győr good at hitting the long balls and getting hold of the rebounds. We have different strengths. The turning point in the match came with the penalty towards the end of the first half. It looked as if Patkai had fouled Adam Simon from the bench. The home team got lots of momentum from the penalty. Things were not made easier for us in the final 30 minutes with only one player a regular member of our defensive line-up. We generally played what he planned to so I am satisfied with the players.
Vasile Miriuta: It was a realistic result. Vidi were better in the first half while we were better in the second. I made changes early as I judged that it was needed and would be good for the team. We knew that Vidi are a good team, with their game based on ball possession. We tried to block them, but this did not always work. We made big mistakes for both goals. I told them at half time to put Vidi under constant pressure in the seonc half, and that they would make at least one error. I also knew that if we would have conceded a third goal, then the game would be finished for us. We will continue to work and I am convinced that we will be better.
