We visit the home of ZTE FC on Saturday

Gábor Márton"s side will be going into the spring from the 11th place.

On Saturday at 12:30 we will play ZTE FC for the 92nd time in the top league. We have won 41 of the 91 matches played so far, with 26 draws and 24 Zala victories. The goal difference is 153-104 in our favour, which means an average of almost three goals per game.

ZTE FC started the 2023/2024 season under head coach Gábor Boér, but last November, after the away defeat against MTK, a change of manager took place, with Gábor Márton, who had previously managed Vidi, replacing him on the bench. Under his stewardship, the Zala side have so far recorded two defeats, a draw and a win. After 17 rounds, the blue and whites are in penultimate place in the table with 4 wins, 3 draws and 10 defeats, just one point ahead of bottom placed Kisvárda.

During the pre-season period, ZTE FC won three of their four matches (8-0 against Nafta, 3-1 against Paphos and 5-1 against Kozármisleny) and only suffered a minimal defeat against Crvena Zvezda. In the preparation matches, head coach Gábor Márton played his team in the same 3-5-2 formation preferred by Bartosz Grzelak.
