Vidi will face Szigetszentmiklos in the 3rd round of the Hungarian cup

The draw for the Hungarian cup third round took place at the HQ of the Hungarian FA on Monday morning. Vidi were paired with second division side Szigetszentmiklós in the next round. The date for the tie is Tuesday 23rd September 2014, with a kick off time of 15:00pm. The match will be played on the astro turf pitch.

Our cup opponents progressed through the first round stage after winning 3-2 at the home of third division side Cigand SE. They then beat second division team Szeged 1-0. Szigetszentmiklos are in seventh place in the second division. They have won two, drawn two and lost one of their five league games so far. They have a 7-6 goal difference. Their manager is former Vidi head coach Attila Vago, who had a spell in charge of Videoton in the 1990's.
