Vidi return to OTP league action on Sunday evening when Ujpest visit the MOL Arena Sosto.
On Sunday evening, in the 6th round of the OTP Bank League, we will host Ujpest FC at the MOL Arena Sosto. We examine the matches between the two teams in our article below.

The record reads out of the 111 meetings so far, Vidi have an advantage, despite the fact that Ujpest took a serious advantage in the 1970s. The first league game:
The two teams met for the first time on June 20, 1968; in the match held at the Sosto Stadium, the later silver medalist Ujpesti Dozsa won confidently 6-2, the goals for Videoton coming from Laszlo Karsai and Laszlo Bodnar.

The first four league games between the two teams was won by Ujpest with a goal difference of 6-22, Videoton was able to celebrate their first success in the fifth meeting. Our team won 2-1 in the 10th round of the 1970/1971 season, our goals were scored by Tibor Wollek and Laszlo Csukovics.
Biggest win:
It dates back to the 2001/2002 season, we won 5-0 against Ujpest in the 37th round of the season in Fehervar. In addition to our five-goal victory, we beat them with four goals twice and by three goals in seven games over the years.

In the 12th round of the 1977/1978 season, we played in our second highest scoring game of our history against Ujpest. On November 16, 1977, the meeting of the two teams at the Sosto produced 10 goals, our team won 6-4.
