In the second half, Dániel Németh scored twice, securing a 2–1 victory and ensuring we kept the three points at home.
In the 7th round of the Merkantil Bank Liga NB II, our team hosted DVTK in front of 2,486 spectators at the Sóstói Stadium. Head coach Tamás Pető fielded the following starting eleven: Hársfalvi – Köllő, Murka, Spandler – Ekbauer, Bedi, Derekas, Zsótér, Kurdics – Nagy Z., Németh, meaning that our two new signings this week also secured places in the starting line-up.

In the 4th minute, following a cross from the left, Molnár’s volley went wide; then, in the 10th minute, Németh arrived in front of goal and scored, but the referee ruled the goal out for offside. In the 16th minute, we had several shots on the DVTK goal, and in the 28th, Molnár shot just wide of the right-hand post for the visitors. In the 29th minute, somewhat surprisingly given the run of play, the visitors scored; Galántai fired the ball into the right-hand side of our net following a scramble (0–1).
In the 33rd minute, we created our best chance of the match so far, with Gróf pulling off a superb save to deny Bedi’s header from a few metres out. In the 37th minute, Gróf made another great save from Nagy’s header, and in the 44th minute we found the back of the visitors’ net again, but this was also ruled out for offside. In the 81st minute, following a cross from the left, Molnár’s header went wide, but a minute later we scored the winning goal: once again, Németh met a cross coming in from the right and this time slotted the ball into the net with his foot (2–1)! DVTK couldn’t get a foothold against our team in the closing stages either, so after a hard-fought battle, we deservedly took all three points at home. The action continues on Saturday, this time in the cup and away from home, once again against Diósgyőr.
After the break, in the 52nd minute, the goalkeeper saved Németh’s shot, but in the 55th minute the equaliser came: Németh met our cross from the right and headed into the net (1–1)! In the 59th minute, Mucsányi shot over from 18 metres, whilst in the 60th, Galántai fired wide. In the 71st minute, Bedi’s shot went over, and in the 79th, Németh went down under suspicious circumstances inside the penalty area, but the referee’s whistle remained silent.
