Three points are on offer in Budapest on Thursday as Imre Szabics and his side hope for a win.
The one but final game of the league season takes place on Thursday. Match 32 of the OTP league sees us travel to Budapest. The game was brought forward due to Vidi's participation in the MOL Hungarian Cup on the 3rd May.
MTK will go into the game in 5th place while we are two places higher in third with 2 games left of the campaign. MTK suffered defeats to Puskas Academy 0-3 and Kisvarda 0-1, but most recently beat Ujpest 3-1 away. Their 31 league games to date have brought 11 wins, 9 draws and 11 defeats. A total of 42 goals have been scored and one less conceded. Top goalscorer is 20 year old Szabolcs Schon with 9 goals.
We have lost our two league games to Michael Boris' side this season. There was a 3-1 loss in November in Budapest and a 2-1 defeat in Szekesfehervar. We did beat them in the Hungarian Cup semi-finals at the MTK stadium recently.
It will be the 101st NB I game between the two. Those have produced 40 wins, 21 draws and 40 victories for the blue and whites.
