Only Debrecen and Ferencvaros have been able to beat DVTK this season.
Videoton make the journey east to face a Diosgyőr side, which set a record for consecutive wins this autumn. The Miskolc club did not start the season too well after big expectations over the summer. Tomiszlav Szivics saw his side lose one and draw three of their opening four league games. That gave them a position of 13th in the league table after the opening round of matches. Former Vidi player Akos Elek and his DVTK side then went on a great run of results, which the home supporters had not seen previously. Seven matches were won on the spin, creating a new club record, and even more impressive was the fact that they did not concede a single goal during that run! DVTK shot up the league table and now sit just four points behind Videoton.
They have had a slight difference in form over the last three games, drawing two away matches and losing at home to Ferencvaros. Diosgyőr sit in joint third place with Haladas, and their target is to finish in the top three come the end of the season. The Miskolc club comfortably won their league cup group, winning their final group stage match against Kisvarda 7-1 during the week. Sunday's opponents have so far defeated third division side Cigand SE in the Hungarian cup, with the cup draw pairing them with Videoton over two legs. Patrik Barcsa is their top goalscorer with five goals. Marko Futacs has scored one less while Mark Nikhazi has found the back of the net three times.
