Vidi travel to 8th in the table Debrecen on Saturday

Our Saturday opponents were relegated from the NB I in the 2019/2020 season, but managed to get promoted back the next season, under the coaching duo of Szabolcs Huszti and Gábor Toldi, who both left Vidi. Loki started the 2021/2022 season in the NB I under the guidance of these two coaches.

In the 7 rounds so far, DVSC have collected 8 points, which puts them in 8th place in the table. However, it is worth noting that Loki have scored the second most goals in the NB I after Paks, with 18 goals so far. One third of the goals have been scored by Roland Ugrai. DVSC are not only scoring a lot of goals, they are also conceding many goals, with Debrecen letting in the third most goals - 14 - after ZTE and Paks.

There have been no major changes to the squad this summer, with six players leaving and the same number arriving - most recently 37-time international Krisztián Németh joining DVSC a few days ago.

We last played in Debrecen on the 5th February 2020, when we drew 1-1. Saturday's match will be the 81st NB I match between the two teams, we have won 34 out of the 80 matches played so far, with 16 draws and 30 Debrecen wins. The goal difference is 106-109 in Loki's favour. It is interesting to note that in the last 16 matches DVSC has not beaten us once, Loki has only scored twice against us, with 14 wins and 14 draws.
