Saturday's opponents have made a 100% start to the new OTP league season.
On Saturday we will play Kisvárda Master Good in match 4 of the OTP Bank League. It will also be our first home game, which will kick off at 18.15 at the MOL Arena Sósto.
Kisvárda have made an excellent start to the season, winning three of their three matches (all 2-1), and twice away from home. They took the three points from FTC in the first match and MTK in the third, also beating Gyirmót at home in between.
In the summer transfer season, Sassá, Cornel Ene (Gyirmót), Fernando Viana (Újpest FC), Zoltán Horváth (DVTK), Márk Kovácsréti (MTK) and Mihai Minca all departed, while Jasir Asani (FK Partizani), Jasmin Mesanovic (FK Sarajevo), Krisztián Nagy (Ajka), Márk Németh (Újpest FC), Bence Ötvös (Nyíregyháza) and Ionut Peteleu (UTA Arad) all arrived.
The red and white team started the new season with a new manager as Joao Janeiro, a Portuguese coach, who took over in May. (In December 2019, we played in the Hungarian Cup against Szeged under his management and eventually went through in extra time.)
We last met the team that finished the previous season in 5th place at the beginning of April. This match saw our head coach Imre Szabics make his debut and the final score was 0-0. In Székesfehérvár we have played five league games with Kisvárda in our history and won all five.
