Vidi take on 8th in the table Puskas Academy at the weekend

The second newcomer in the OTP league 2017-18 season besides Balmazujvaros are the Puskas Academy. Vidi have an unbeaten record against them. The county rivals started their fourth season in the first division in the summer. That has seen the two sides come face to face 8 times. Those have produced two draws and six wins for Videoton. The most recent win came earlier this season in the second match of the campaign. Diallo scored an early goal, which was cancelled out by Fejes, and further goals from Lazovic and Scepovic secured a 3-1 win. The Felcsut side did not make the best of starts to the season. They picked up a point in their opening four games, but have since improved and caught up. They also had a four match winning run against Balmazujvaros, Haladas, Ujpest and Mezokovesd. That came to an end in the games against DVSC and Paks, who both collected the 3 points. Last Saturday’s game against Ferencvaros ended in a draw to put Attila Pinter’s side in 8th place after 12 games. There have been some new arrivals since Vidi played PAFC earlier this season. Antonio Perosevic and Liridon Latifi both arrived. Videoton FC then brought in defender Bence Toth from the Felcsut club close to the end of the transfer window. Others to leave the club were Roland Sallai, Lorand Szatmari and Bence Gundel-Takacs. Former Vidi player Attila Polonkai and Zsolt Nagy headed out on loan as did Ivor Horvat.
