We started the match on the front foot; in the 8th minute, several of our shots were blocked and eventually cleared for a corner. In the 24th minute, at the end of a counter-attack, Németh shot over the bar; this came following earlier action in the 18th minute, Dominik Nagy found himself through on goal, but after his final feint, the goalkeeper managed to collect the ball from him. In the 19th minute, following a cross from the right by Krisztián Kovács, Derekas headed wide; in the 23rd minute, following a free-kick from the right by Dominik Nagy, the goalkeeper made a save at the near post.

In the 42nd minute, Ajka took the lead from a highly controversial free-kick, with Szabó’s shot flying into the top left-hand corner (0–1). However, we equalised quickly; at the end of a counter-attack down the right, Derekas’s shot found the bottom left corner (1–1), so we went into the break level.

We made a substitution at half-time, with Zoárd Nagy coming on for Kurdics. The second half didn’t start well for us; at the end of an attack down the left flank, Szabó slotted the ball into our net as it came his way, scoring his and his team’s second goal (1–2). In the 53rd minute, we launched an attack down the right, which ended with Krisztián Kovács firing wide. In the 58th minute, we made a double substitution, bringing on Cipf and Ekbauer. In the 72nd minute, Szabó’s shot rebounded off the crossbar, and in the 78th, following a cross from the left, Bedi shot over the bar.

In the 82nd minute, Dominik Kovács – who had also come on as a substitute in the meantime – had a chance from a good position but missed the target. In the 83rd minute, the goalkeeper saved a header from Zoárd Nagy, and in the 87th minute we made our final substitution, bringing Bartusz on. Our final chance came in the 89th minute, when the goalkeeper made a brilliant save to deny Zoárd Nagy’s shot at the near post.

The score remained 1–2 at the end of the three-minute extra time, with Ajka taking all three points from Sóstó.
