Vidi make the visit to Kaposvar at the weekend

MOL Fehervar FC will be looking for their second win over Kaposvar this season. The two sides met in the season opener, which Vidi won 4-2.

The first round of matches in the 2019-20 OTP league season has come to an end. Vidi lead the league table after a third of the league season. They now kick off the second third with a trip to Kaposvari Rakoczi FC on Saturday. The two met in August at the MOL Arena Sosto and it was the red and blues who won 4-2.

Two goals each from Futacs and Hodzic against Kaposvar secured the three points. Kaposvar have gone on to win two games with wins over DVTK and Debrecen. However, they have lost their last 4 matches against Paks (1-2), Kisvarda (0-2), Honved (0-2) and Ujpest (2-3). They are still in the Hungarian Cup with wins over Soltvadkert (4-0) and Tiszakecske (1-0).

Laszlo Disztl and Robert Waltner manage the team that have scored 9 goals this season. Four of those goals have come from Martin Adam with the remaining 5 goals split among the team. Adam also has two assists to his name to lead the Canadian Table for Saturday's opponents. Richard Nagy has provided 4 goals to sit in second place. It is Martin Adam who has played the most minutes so far with 981 minutes in his legs. Attila Szakaly has performed in 900 minutes with defender David Hegedus just behind.

Their squad is valued at around 3,93 million euros, which is the lowest in the OTP league. Matej is the highest valued player with the Slovenian forward having played in just 103 minutes. They also have two other foreign players in their squad in the form of Aljosa Vojnovic and Ukrainian forward Andriy Yakimiv.

Kaposvar first choice keeper Krisztian Pogacsics was forced to miss their recent match through injury. There are Vidi connections for our opponents with both Laszlo Disztl and Robert Waltner both former players. Another to have been with Vidi in the past is Marcell Fodor who made 9 NB I appearances in 2004-05. Csaba Vachtler and Tamas Nagy are two other players with red and blue ties.
