Another important three points are up for grabs at the weekend.
In the 7th round of the OTP Bank Liga, Puskás Akadémia FC will visit the MOL Arena Sóstó, with the match kicking off at 19.30.
Zsolt Hornyák's side are currently fourth in the table, having played five matches so far, winning three and losing two, while they postponed their match against FTC. They have scored 7 goals and conceded 9, with all their goals coming from different players. Of the 9 goals scored, 6 were scored against them by Paks when they were thrashed 6-1 in Felcsút.
Among the players who left PAFC during the summer transfer window were Josip Knezevic (al-Arabi), Liridon Latifi (Vllaznia Shkodër), Kamen Hadzsiev (Beroe), Thomas Meissner (Hansa Rostock) and Antonio Mance (NK Osijek). The arrivals included Libor Kozák (Sparta Praha), Jakov Puljic (Jagiellonia Bialystok), Patrizio Stronati (Baník Ostrava) and Tamás Markek (Csákvár).
Saturday will be our 10th home game against Puskás Akadémia, with five wins, two draws and two defeats. Interestingly, while we scored 12 points in our first four games against them, we have managed to pick up 5 points in the last five meetings. In the nine encounters, we scored 17 goals and conceded 11. We last hosted them in December 2020, when we drew 1-1.
