Stefan Scepovic hit three goals with a further one from Sos to make it 4-1 in Friday's friendly.
Vidi played their fourth friendly of the summer against a young Sturm Graz side. The following team lined up for the Szekesfehervar side: Tujvel – Réti, Juhász, Tóth Bence, Tamás – Varga József – Berecz, Kovács István – Stefan Scepovic, Elvir Hadzic. It was Marko Nikolic' side that had the first attractive move on 5 minutes with a counter attack, which ended with Sos crossing for Stefan Scepovic, but he could not find the target. Kriezner battled his way with a chance on goal 5 minutes later, but his curling effort went the wrong side of the post.
Hardly a minute went by before the young Austrian striker broke towards goal, but keeper Tujvel pulled off a good save as the ball went out for a corner. Sos sent a shot over the bar on 22 minutes from 14 meters, while the summer signing flicked the ball on towards Stefan minutes later, and his powerful strike settled in the back of the Austrian net (1-0).
The score was 2-0 after 42 minutes when a good Istvan Kovacs free kick found Stefan, who was quickest to react to head home his second goal of the game. Tujvel was tested two minutes later when a shot from Urdl was saved by the experienced keeper.
There were no changes at the break with the first chance of the second period arriving in the first minute. Kovacs found himself with a chance, but his shot from the outside of his foot was saved by Stumberger, who had come on at the break. The young Austrian side came back into the game after 54 minutes. A cross from the left ended in Amoah taking advantage of a defensive error to make it 2-1.
The action continued a couple of minutes later when Stefan rolled the ball into the path of Elvir Hadzic, who shot low and aimed for the far post, but it did not find the target. Hadzic again had a chance after 61 minutes when a pass from Kovacs, but his shot from 17 meters went wide of the left post. Stefan Scepovic scored his third goal of the game on 74 minutes. It was another headed effort that came from another Kovacs cross to make it 3-1.
Bence Sos was quickest to head the ball beyond Stumberg on 77 minutes, and the forward was on hand to roll the ball into the net to make it 4-1.
Krisztian Tamas after 80 minutes was spilled by the Sturm keeper, and the rebound fell to Elvir Hadzic, who hit the crossbar. That was the final action of the friendly game that ended in a 4-1 win against a young Sturm team.
