The draw for the Hungarian cup took place on Wednesday evening with Vidi being pulled out of the hat against second division opponents.
The draw for the Hungarian cup round 8 was made on Wednesday evening. Vidi will travel to play Vac FC for a place in the next round. The match will be played away but not in Vac, as the second division opponents play their home games at the home of Obuda. The game will be settled over one match. The Hungarian FA have arranged the game for the 29th November but it can still be subject to change.
Vac are a stable second division team these days even though they came close to folding in 2013. They were demoted two divisions and started playing in the county league 1, before being promoted as champions to the NBIII. Another promotion followed and they most recently finished in 6th place in the second tier. Vac have 22 points from 14 games this season to sit in 5th place. Top goalscorer with 5 goals is Adam Bajlati.
Their squad includes Zoltan Burany who has played 116 first division games in his career. Gergo Rasa has 29 NBI games while David Gorgenyi (9 NBI) and Csaba Hegedus (18 NBI) also makes up their side. Current manager is former Siofok coach Karoly Horvath.
