Ujpest most recently drew their Budapest derby match with Ferencvaros 0-0.
This is the third time that we are facing Ujpest FC in the 2017-18 OTP league season. There have been two 2-2 draws so far. The first game was back in July in the third game of the season. Ujpest led 2-0 at the Pancho Arena until the 86th minute, but late goals from Scepovic and then Hadzic earned a draw. The second game at the end of October saw early goals for Vidi, and a two goal lead inside the first four minutes. Ujpest came back and Adam Kovacsik even saved a penalty in the 91st minute. The Budapest side most recently drew the derby match with Ferencvaros to sit 4th in the table. They are just a point behind third placed Paks. Only Mezokovesd have managed to beat them this year. There were two arrivals during the winter with Onovo coming in from HJK Helsinki. Burekovic joined from Vojvodina. Manager Nebojsa Vignjevics has already used 25 players this season.
Viktor Angelovra and Saletros Antonra left Ujpest recently. Krisztian Simon suffered an injury, as did Jozsef Windecker who has yet to play in 2018. Transfermarkt.de values their squad at 6,48 million euros, which is the 7th highest in the NB I. Top scorer with 13 goals is Novothny Soma, who is valued at 500,000€, while both Daniel Nagy and Filip Pajovics have played the most games. Other players to have a high value are Litauszki and Windecker. InStat puts Windecker (260) top with Nagy (245) and Szankovics (245). The current Ujpest squad has former Vidi players Zsoter, Mohl, Tischler and Pajovic in it.
