The views of the two managers

There were emotional scenes at the end of the match, as manager Gyorgy Mezey held his final press conference. The manager said that he was looking forward to a well earned beer!

Gyorgy Mezey: "We could have won the match with a simple win, but football is like this. Ujpest fought bravely and I would like to congratulate them on their victory. Luck did not shine on us tonight, but perhaps it is acceptable, taking into account the current state of the team."

Geza Mészöly: "We handed out debuts to eleven players during the season. The team deserve all the recognition that they get to end up in sixth place. I would like to thank the fans for their backing, and I hope that the future will be better. Fortune rode with us today against Videoton, but luck comes to those who fight for it."
