Michael Boris and Zsolt Hornyák gave interviews to journalists after the match.
Michael Boris:
"We started the match well, we took the lead quickly. You could see that Puskás Akadémia started with three centre-backs, which perhaps also meant that they respected our game. Puskás' first goal after that was a mistake that we cannot afford to make. The second goal was conceded and of course you can lose the ball, but we have to react better to it, we have to defend better in such situations. But in the second half we again showed our mentality and character, and although Nego's chance was missed, we managed to equalise. We are unbeaten in five games, we want to win again in Debrecen and continue the good series. If I can refer back to a previous game, if this team can come back from 3-0 down and win 5-3, I think it proves that we play to win every game. Today we fought until the last second and that's why we took a lot of risks at the end of the game, I'm very happy that Stopira scored in the end. We want to qualify for Europe, we have to put our egos aside and get a good result together."
Our head coach was also asked about how he basically likes the way the team is playing.
"I love attacking football and you probably know that about me. Sometimes I have the feeling that we play more backwards than we should, but we also have good moments of course. For example, Loic is in good form, Heister will do better as he gets more playing time, as we have seen before at FTC. While Rúben Pinto is also getting better, he provided a nice assist in Mezőkövesd, but we also have quality players in the attacking section. Defensively, however, we need to be more careful when we lose the ball and we need to close down better in these situations."
Hornyák Zsolt:
"Thank you to my team for their attitude today. I think we were definitely the better team on the pitch, but it's true that we made a mistake with the first goal. I'm sorry we didn't score our third goal because we dominated the second half. I am happy with the game, not so much with the refereeing. I think the Portuguese player (Ruben Pinto - ed) should have been sent off. We should have made more serious decisions on both sides, not led by names, be it Pinto, Fiola or Baluta. If it's yellow, let it be yellow. Of course, it always hurts when we concede a goal in the 96th minute. We made a mistake, two of our players stepped out for an unnecessary foul, we analysed this after the game, we should have defended the space instead. But once again and even with the mistakes, thank you for the team's attitude."
