The two managers shared their thoughts at the post match press conference.
Imre Szabics:
"I am at a loss for the result, I don't know how we lost this game. Congratulations to our opponent because the winner never has to explain. We had very serious chances, we should have finished Debrecen in the first half. We are not consoled by the many situations, we are sad to have lost the game. It's encouraging that our play was good, but we need it to be matched by results."
Our coach was also asked about the opinion of the fans.
"Anyone who chooses such a profession knows that similar incidents can happen if the results don't come. I believe in the team, which is going through a transformation. We wanted to make this period run smoothly, but we are not yet getting the results we expected, alongside encouraging play."
Joan Carrillo:
"It was a tough game, as we prepared for it. My team worked hard and I'm proud of them. I believed in them until the last minute, as they believed in themselves, and that's why we managed to win. At half time I asked the boys to fight because a draw is not enough and they did their best. The most important thing is that we got the three points, and that was a way of repaying the fans for their continued support. Alex Hrabina gave a very good performance, but I could also mention Márk Szécsi, who scored two goals, but the victory was clearly the team's achievement. It was a special match for me, I have fond memories of Székesfehérvár, I consider it my home, just like Debrecen. We were one goal down, but that's the way football is, and fortunately we managed to equalise quickly. I'd like to dedicate today's success to my wife, who unfortunately couldn't be here today due to a coronavirus infection."
