‘This was yet another match we’ve thrown away this season. We had five clear-cut chances in the first 30 minutes; if we’d converted two or three of them, we could have made the match easier for ourselves. The opposition won the match with a single shot on goal – I’d like to congratulate them.’

Gyula Jeney:

“We tried to capitalise on the fact that Videoton are a very strong side with bigger ambitions, so the pressure was really on them. They had a slow start to the season, but they looked very good in the previous round against DVTK. I asked the players to try and enjoy the game; we tried to be prepared for everything, and our game plan worked today as well. There were a few moments of confusion in our defence at the start, but we knew it would be a tough task. We saw real determination from the players – congratulations to everyone!”
