The midfielder was forced to come off in Tuesday's league cup match at Paks.
José Gomes was forced to make changes in the second half of Tuesday's league cup match at Paks. The first came in the 53rd minute with Nildo coming off. Three minutes later the same happened when Brachi left the pitch. Nildo's injury appeared the more serious, as he was stretchered off, while Brachi walked off following his injury. Both players underwent a medical check, which resulted in good news.
"We took an x-ray of Nildo following the match. Luckily the results were negative, and there did not appear to be any tear. He has pulled his muscle, which means that he will most likely be rested for a couple of weeks. The injury is not as serious as we first thought. Brachi also had a pull, and the x-ray also showed that there was nothing too serious. He will also be back in around two weeks" - commented Dr Tibor Kovacs.
"At the beginning of the second half, I felt a tight sudden pain in my leg, while I was running. The pain was so strong that I could not even stand up. Naturally I thought about the worse case scenario. They took me straight away to hospital, but luckily the examination showed that there was no tear of the muscle. It was just a pull and I feel much better today. Of course I can still feel some pain, but I am able to walk. I am an optimist and am pleased that the injury is not that serious" - confirmed midfielder Nildo.
