Sousa: It was a hard game made more difficult by certain events

Paulo Sousa saw his side beat Kecskemet on Sunday at the Sostoi stadium

"We are over a difficult game, but we were hit with several problems leading up to the match. Captain Sandor went down with fever during the night, while Gyurcso felt pain in both his thigh's. The problems continued with us losing two more players in the opening half hour. We were up against an in form side today, which is why the 3 points were very important to us, and we managed to get them in the end. I would like to thank the staff at the Fehervar hospital, for being friendly and helpful, as they have always been up until now. They looked at both Oliveira and Caneira, and did everything to make sure they could return as quickly as possible. Getting back to the game, I can say that it was a real battling match. Two of our players were injured, but we could have had even more."

"The game was like a Holywood film. It was composed and the characters were good. The finish was like a European film, and in the end the main hero died. We played well with ten men, but this is all we could do against Videoton in the match. We defended really well in the first half, and Videoton did not have a chance in the first 45 minutes. They could not get near to our goal. Things were different when we were down to 10 men. We tried right up until the end to get a point, but we did not manage this."
