Visitors Paks came from two goals down to level the game and take a point home.
The Hungarian FA arranged match 24 for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Vidi were in action against Paks at the MOL Arena Sosto and the visitors arrived in fifth place in the league table.
Caretaker manager Tamas Szalai made four changes to the side that won 2-0 at the weekend at ZTE. Nikolic, Funsho, Rus and Ruben Pinto did not start the game and in came Zivzivadze, Petryak, Musliu and Alef. The following eleven began the game: Kovács D. - Bolla, Musliu, Stopira, Hangya - Alef, Fiola - Nego, Houri, Petryak - Zivzivadze.
Director of Football Zoltan Kovacs handed over a special award to Nemanja Nikolic for his 100th goal, which he scored on Sunday at ZTE. The first chance arrived on 4 minutes when Hangya fed Nego with a good ball, who shot wide from a tight angle. Vidi opened the scoring after 11 minutes: Fiola played in Petryak, who from 6 meters powerfully shot home (1-0).
Nego had another chance after 24 minutes when he tested the visiting keeper Racz, who managed to save. Three minutes later and Lenzser's long range powerful strike was blocked by Fiola. Zivzivadze tried from a tight angle after 37 minutes when his low shot brought a smart save out of Racz. The end of the first half belonged to the visitors and a corner from Bognar produced danger in the Vidi box. Kovacs managed to get down and punch it away ahead of two Paks players who were ready to pounce. The sides went in at half time with Vidi enjoying a 1-0 lead.
The second half began with good cross from Hangya, which found Zivzivadze, who from 6 meters could not convert the chance. Haraszti sent a powerful shot at Kovacs, who saved after 52 minutes. A short while later Musliu managed to slide in and clear ahead of Hahn. Another big chance was missed after 55 minutes: Nego went down the right following a quick counter attack. He found Petryak unmarked in the middle, but he blasted over from 6 meters. There was no mistake 10 minutes later: Petryak sending a good cross into the middle for Zivzivadze to head home from close range (2-0).
Paks were to come back into the game after 70 minutes. Haraszti finishing off a smart move with a low shot from 7 meters out (2-1). The visitors were able to draw level after 83 minutes when Haraszti took a free kick and curled it into the back of the net 2-2.
The remaining minutes failed to bring any real chance or a further goal. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
