The 2012/2013 league season has flown by quickly. We are now turning into the final furlong of an exciting campaign. Videoton are well positioned in second place, with third in the OTP league table MTK next up at the Sostoi. The pair come face to face on Friday afternoon, in what will be the opening match of the weekend fixture list. The simple aim is to pick up three points

The current season has been a good one for the Budapest club. It begun back in the summer with a short adventure in the Europa league. May promises to be an important and difficult month for the boys from Fehervar. Perhaps the most challenging of the remaining league games takes place on Friday. MTK arrive to the Sostoi having drawn their most recent game away at Ujpest during the week. They needed a last minute Kanta free kick to rescue a point at the Ferenc Szusza stadium in Budapest.

MTK - Diosgyőr  W 2-0
Siofok- MTK  L 2-1

Vidi lost the league match at the Hidegkuti stadium in the autumn season by a 3-2 scoreline. It was a frustrating game with Vidi leaving 3 important points in Budapest. Their very experienced manager, Jozsef Garami is known for producing very young and attack minded sides, and Friday's game looks like being the same. Top of the table Győri ETO have begun to lose points lately, while Vidi's league form has been excellent. There are 7 points between first and second, and hopefully that lead can be cut to 4!
