Marko Nikolic: We controlled things from the first to the final minute

The two managers spoke to the media shortly after the final whistle.

Marko Nikolic:
"We played well today and controlled things from the first to the final minute on the pitch. We played a good passing game and scored three goals. We also had the same amount of big chances to win with a bigger margin. We deserved the win and I would like to congratulate my players and thank the supporters. They were behind us throughout the game. We have only conceded four goals over the spring, which is pleasing, but it is also true that we have not been scoring goals over recent games. Today we had chances and they went in - this is football. I feel that in earlier matches, that had we scored a goal at the start, as we did today, then those games would have panned out the same way. Usually the opponents have 10 men behind the ball and have to open up. This does not only apply to games in Hungary. However, the same happened in our matches with Honved and Ujpest and today we managed to score the first goal and then a tough game until then became easier."

The manager was asked by the journalists about the performances of Stopira and Nego.

"Both played well this evening but this is usually the case with their performance. Both are important players for us. They did not have a different role today than in the other games. Sometimes there is a problem with the finishing. I am thinking here also about crosses and the final pass into the opponents box. Quality players, and not just them, will try to take advantage of those chances."

Michal Hipp:

"I want to congratulate the home side for the win. Since I have been at Haladas, this was our weakest performance. I did not recognise my team. We were not confident in the first half and this was confirmed by us really missing our suspended and injured players more than the home side did. I am disappointed also as those that have had limited time on the pitch did not prove themselves. They should have given more than they did previously. I felt that Lorant Kovacs especially behaved flippantly and he got himself sent off. We wanted to repeat the way we played against FTC and Paks, but we could not do any of this. I would like to say sorry to the supporters. All I can say to the players is to quickly forget this game. We will do everything to make sure that the supporters see our real game in the next matches."
