Marko Nikolic: We controlled large parts of the game

The two managers spoke to the media following the final whistle.

Marko Nikolic:

"Taking into consideration the circumstances that we arrived back in the night from Sweden two days ago, the condition of the pitch and the great heat, I can only congratulate my players. The majority of them played with a perfect mentality and we controlled large parts of the game. We showed several good combinations down the wings, but could only score right at the end of the game. I felt that if we could have scored earlier, then it would have been followed by the second and third. You could see at the final whistle that the players had given their all and it is a pity that we did not get all 3 points. Thank you to those supporters who came out, but I am disappointed with the attendance. We are playing very important games. We are representing the club suitably in Europe, but only a few came out to back the side. I thank those that came out for giving their support. I do not know what has happened to the pitch as we last played here 10 days ago. The grass has virtually disappeared since then. It did not help the players, but we should have concentrated even more with our finishing. We would have won with a little bit more luck."

Herczeg András:

"I felt in the first half that we played well. We were worthy opponents for Vidi and we also managed to take the lead. We could not move the ball around in the second half as we would have liked to. Our passing was not that precise. We also lost Adam Bodi with an injury in the match. We had a great chance in the 83rd minute, which had it gone in would have given us the win. However, we missed it and Vidi levelled in injury time. I am very angry as we should have stopped Tamas from shooting. Three points would have been important but we need to learn from the game. We need to play for longer periods as we did in the first half. I would like to wish the opponents the best against Malmö FF."
