Videoton face two away matches with visits to Debrecen and Eger
League Cup quarter-finals (second leg)
Wednesday 6th March, K.O.: 18.00: Debrecen - Videoton FC (0-1 first leg)
Videoton travel east to the home of Debrecen, with a first leg 1-0 lead under their belts. The two recently came face-to-face, and it needed a penalty from Nikolics to seperate the two at the Sostoi stadium. This will be the fourth fixture between Vidi and Debrecen this season. Vidi have won all three so far, so José Gomes will be hoping to take that statistic into Wednesday's game. The super cup final ended in a win for Vidi, thanks to a penalty shootout on a rain soaked evening, back in the summer. The home league game produced a 3-1 win to the red and blues of Fehervar, while the 1-0 first leg win rounded off the three wins to date.
OTP Bank League - Weekend 19
Saturday 9th March, K.O.: 16.00: Eger FC - Videoton FC
Vidi continue their league campaign with a visit to Eger, who play their games at the home of Vac. Videoton comfortably beat Honved at the Bozsik stadium on Sunday, and they will be looking to break in to the top three with a win next Saturday. A 2-1 home win in the autumn season gave Vidi all three points, and they will be looking to make it a double of Eger. Manager Antal Simon was replaced in the winter break by Ferenc Meszaros, who saw his new side lose at home to Diosgyőr on Friday. Eger currently occupy one of the relegation places.
