José Gomes: The return of Istvan Kovacs gave Vidi a new momentum in the second half

Both managers spoke to the gathered media after the final whistle.

José Gomes: "It also depends on the opponents on whether a game is successful. Puskas FC played very well this afternoon. The match was balanced. I said before the game that PAFC are a good side. They played with confidence, but perhaps not as well as they have recently. This was mainly down to us not allowing them to play their own game. The way that PAFC held themselves shows the good work being carried out by the coaching staff at the academy. The game against Kecskemet saw changes producing momentum. The same happened in today's game. The return from injury of Kovacs played a large part in the momentum in our game following the changes. He held onto the ball very well, and found good solutions, and played an important role in us playing well in the second half. We finally won the game 3-0. I would like to dedicate today's result to my son, who is 14 today."

Benczés Miklós: "We are over a difficult 90 minutes. We managed to hide the difference between the two sides in the first half. We were organized, but our attacking play was not effective, as we had little of the possession. We are familiar with the Videoton FC squad, and we knew that they would punish us for any mistakes. Sadly there was more than one in the second 45 minutes. The home side confidently run out winners from the 60th minute onwards."
