Honved - Videoton match postponed

Referee Tamas Bognar made a thorough inspection of the main pitch at the Bozsik stadium in Budapest. The bad weather conditions leading up to the match, which included snow and the temperature rarely going above the zero mark paid its toll. 

Videoton FC had expressed during the week that the conditions were not ideal to play the game with Honved. Our opponents did everything they could to make the pitch playable. However, the cold eventually emerged the winner and the match has been postponed. 

Videoton welcomes the correct decision made by the match officials in the interest of avoiding injury. The new date for this fixture will be made by the Hungarian FA and this will be communicated in due course.
