Good game, nice goals and a confident win

Videoton produced a good performance to confidently beat Rapid Bucharest in Spain

Pre-season friendly
Videoton FC - Rapid Bucharest 3-1 (2-0)
Goalscorers: Nikolics (3, 14), Kovacs (63)

It arrived from the feet of Nemanja Nikolics, who controled a ball from Oliveria, before shaking off the defender to calmly place the ball wide of the Rapid keeper, and into the far corner of the net, after just 3 minutes. Niko found himself with another good chance a few minutes later, but he was unable to find the target. Videoton doubled their lead after 14 minutes, when Oliveira sent a lovely long ball into the path of the Vidi striker, and Nikolics made no mistake keeping his composure to slot the ball home. It really was a good start for an attacking Vidi side, who were playing in their all white kit, and with Niko looking dangerous in front of goal. There were no further goals in the first half, but it was clear to see that Videoton were enjoying things out on the pitch. Vidi were aggresively closing down their opponents inside their own half, and it frustrated the Rapid players. Rapid Bucharest did have one chance in the opening period, with a header going over following a corner on 24 minutes.

José Gomes made three changes at the break, while Rapid brought on eight players in their team, which began the second half. Mitrovics curled a lovely free kick towards goal, after 50 minutes, which resulted in a good save from their Brazilian keeper. Rapid came back into the match with a goal that had a suspicion of offside about it. A high ball into the box found its way to Coman, who was in plenty of space, and he first controlled the ball, before powerfully hitting it past Tujvel. However, Vidi continued to press forward in search of further goals. They were rewarded in the 63rd minute, when Torghelle battled to win the ball in the box, with the ball eventually falling kindly to the feet of Kovacs, who made no mistake in front of goal.
