The two head coaches shared their thoughts on the first leg cup game on Wednesday.
Ferenc Horváth:
"We played with stability and organization, just as we had during our friendly games. Ferencvaros had the majority of possession during the middle of the first half, but I feel that we managed to control the game overall. Winning a football match is usually decided on small details, but you cannot take this away from the lads, who played with maximum dedication. They fought and battled on the pitch, which today was enough for the success. I would like to thank the supporters for their backing, and I hope that many of them will follow us on Saturday at Ujpest."
Thomas Doll:
"There was no problem with our performance, with us continuously attacking during the first half. Vidi did not have too many chances to score a goal. The goal that we conceded was thanks to us. The players did all they could, battling throughout, but when we reached the final third, the tempo was missing for us to find the back of the net. Unfortunately we could not score a goal in the Arena, which was the same for our game against Ujpest."
