Everything is just as professional here at Vidi than at Sporting

The midfielder recently faced his former club Sporting, in the Europa league group stage match

"I am officially still a Sporting player, but I am presently doing everything to help Videoton achieve success, which is why I work very hard each day. Sporting are a very professional club, with professional surroundings and professional staff. It was a very nice surprise for me, that a club playing on the international stage, and that is not so big as Sporting, has an equally high level set up and work, than in Portugal. The coaching staff are very well prepared, and the training sessions are very intensive, and are not lower than the level I became used to in Lisbon. My team mates were very friendly to me and I was greeted with lots of kindness. It was very easy to blend in to Videoton and it went very easily. This is why I am happy to work with all my heart for Videoton."

"The standard of the Hungarian league is better than what I was counting on, but it still has room to develop, and needs to. There are very good players in the first division, which will help this happen. I am sure that the league will continue to get stronger in the coming years. We all experienced over the autumn just what a difference there is between the European games and the first division league matches. Sporting were one of our opponents in the group stages of the Europa league. However, as I am now playing for Videoton, the two games against them were just like the rest for me. I did not have an extra will inside me to prove anything, as I go out for each match to give my very best. Getting back to Videoton, I feel very good here. My loan deal lasts up until June, so I will still be here over the spring season. Now the main focus is on rest. I will spend the first day of the winter break in Belgium, before travelling back to Brazil with my girlfriend and daughter. I have not been back home for a year and a half, and my family have not yet seen my child in person. So not only I am looking forward to being back at home again, but my family as well" - explained Renato Neto.
