DVTK will be our opponents in the third round of the cup

On Monday evening at 8.00 pm, the draw for the third round of the MOL Hungarian Cup took place in the M4 Sport studio. Our club will also be joining the cup competition at this stage. Only the first division sides were seeded; all other teams could be drawn against anyone.

Videoton FC Fehérvár will face DVTK away from home (as DVTK were drawn first due to both teams being in the same division). Interestingly, just a few days earlier, on Monday 7th September, we are due to face Diósgyőr in the league, at the Sóstói Stadium.

The third-round matches will be played on 12–13 September, with the exact kick-off times to be confirmed later. The tie will be decided over a single match. In the event of a draw, there will be two 15-minute periods of extra time, followed by a penalty shoot-out.
