Another big week for Videoton FC

Vidi will have two big home matches this week as both Sporting Lisbon and Ferencvaros visit

Videoton entertain Sporting Lisbon on Thursday at the Sostoi stadium. It will be their second match of the group stage phase, with the Portuguese giants sure to provide a big challenge to Paulo Sousa and his side. The Lisbon side have produced a 50% performance after 5 league matches in their domestic league, having picked up 6 points. Their most recent match saw them recover from 0-2 down against Estoril, to claim a point at home.

Ferencvaros make the journey to the Sostoi on Sunday, in what will be the second big home fixture of the week. Vidi finally managed to defeat Ferencvaros last season, following a 19 year wait. The Budapest side beat Diosgyőr 2-0 at the Albert stadium on Sunday. That win saw them jump up to 7th in the OTP league table. Ricardo Moniz's side will be tough opponents, and have already won 3 games this season, while drawing 4 and losing 2. They have scored 12 goals, and have conceded 9 in the process.
